If you are reading this, you’ve been chosen by the gods of the internet to do one of the following:

1. Look through our archives, choose a piece of “artwork” you hate most, and make a comment about it.

2. Send in more material that people claim to be artwork so we at artonot can rant about it.

3. If you’re a lazy bum and don’t wanna do either of the above, follow us on twitter and STFU.

You have your options. The choice is yours. Just don’t make the gods angry.

Btw, thx for stopping by ;-)

Artonot 29: Radiology Art, You be the Judge!

big mac art

RADIOLOGY ART…These incredible examples of Radiology Art are the work of 44-year-old medical student Satre Stuelke. Using high-tech x-ray imaging technology, Stuelke has captured everyday items such as a Big Mac and Barbie with his art. The images are created by being scanned with a GE 4-slice medical-research scanner and then processed in a free software program called Osirix. All of these complex procedures are undertaken on nothing more fancy that an iMac computer at Satre’s home. A part-time artist for 14 years, Stuelke’s radiology art is designed to show people the very essence of objects they take for granted.

Artonot 25: NICE PICTURE, TRY TAKING ONE FROM ANOTHER ANGLE!!!

What a bunch of s*ht. I poop better art every time I eat chilly with french fries, and chocolate cake together.

Although this little “masterpiece” looks cute and all, the fact is that ANYONE could have done this with about a day’s worth of effort. Rembrandt would spin in his f*ing coffin if he saw modern day critics calling this p-o-c “art”

GOOD DAY!

Artonot #24: The Milan Show, Artistic or AUTISTIC?

Posted in art on May 2nd, 2009 by admin – Be the first to comment

(We’ll side with the latter)

Apparently there’s a furniture fair going on in Milan as we speak… a far cry from Rembrandt, IMO.

They call this ART back in Italy. Gosh, the country has regressed down the toilet since Rome… C’est la vie, I guess.

milan art

The level of shameless exuberance in this little masterpiece seems to be a little uncalled for during the greatest economic crisis of the last half century…

Hence, Our Verdict: Get a REAL Job!

Artonot #21: Freaky Furniture, artistic?

Posted in art on April 28th, 2009 by admin – 3 Comments

Methinks this task calls for a carpenter… not a wannabe “artist” with nothing better to do… I’m just kidding. Carpentry is great, for those who care about it.
