Perhaps by virtue of inspiring others to create, it should be classified as “art” by default. I do want to put it to the test here, however, and see what other people think.

This thing is huge by the way, about 1o to 12 feet tall. If you try and spin it, it will go fast enough to give anyone a concussion if they try to get close. Hence, it’s a menace to public safety, takes up a lot of space, and blocks the view of the building behind it… which doesn’t really look that nice anyway… In other words, it MUST be art to rationalize its own existence.
