Haitian Children’s Artwork
Posted in art on January 24th, 2010 by admin – 3 CommentsThe recent earthquake left the city of Jacmel, unofficial “cultural capital” of Haiti, also known as the “City of Artists,” severely damaged. Many historic buildings and other pieces of fine art were damaged or completely destroyed. We feel for Haiti. Please share our support. There are many websites where you can help in restoring this cultural center of the ailing country by making a donation, or maybe even volunteering some of your time to help. Now we just wanted to share some of the original artwork produced there.

Another great website to visit for examples of fine Haitian art is HaitianArt.com
Thanks for your support.

Verdict: Cute, but not quite artistic.
